I also tryed XPforce, make swffb2 fully working under W10 including FFB using the FFB test software, but no FFB under FS2020.
Yes, I tried it as well and had no ffb under fs2020. Also have a swffb2 which works great using the general FFB tests. No response to the ticket from XPforce. Really hoping FSForce for FS2020 happens!

Got Xp-Force working after some USB-port juggling. As has been mentioned, do not use USB hubs, and a USB2 port seems more reliable than USB3. My swffb2 is getting reasonably good FFB, but the presets in Xp-Force need some adjustments for my tastes.
Big disappointment is the way trim works. XP-force does not bypass the default flight sim trim but seems to try to work around it, which means trimming still changes pitch attitude instead of just decreasing stick force.
I much prefer the implementation in FS Force, so still hopefully waiting for the FS2020 version.

Yeah I am also waiting for the FS-Force version because Trim is way better.
I just hope Russ didnt abandon us.

Another massive plus for fsforce, is the way that speed and airflow are implemented. The way that forces wash out or firm up with velocity change is what really feels so much more immersive to me.

Any news on the release of software for the new sim. I would definitely buy it when available

Well, put yer vote in the thread at the flightsim website here:

https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/fo ... ort/248760

So hopefully some SDK will be developed, so Russ can get to work.... i bet he's frustrated as most of us that there's just no proper ffb in there yet.
. Just hoping by the time, there's workable SDK Russ is upto it, and not too rusty in his coding ;) .

YOu've done one helluva job in the last version Russ, i'm here as a returning customer.

Have a great festive season & Keep safe all!

Regards,

Steiny

Hey everybody. Sorry for going off grid! :) I'm sorry to say I have not been able to spend any time on this project lately, as much as I want to. I love MSFS and I love my little FF utility. But other work pressures just are not letting me devote any time to this. Re: the SDK, it's true that there is much work to be done and not everything is implemented, but I could probably get FS Force to work. It would take a lot more re-programming though. Like I say it is mostly time and work issues. I'm not closing the door forever though. Who knows ... I may be able to do the upgrade sometime in the future.

Seeing that MSFS and it's SDK is still being updated regularly, it's not finished by a long shot. It's more gorgeous than previous versions but hey....good things take a little time.

It's good to read you are not closing the door just yet, I just hope work doesn't overwhelm you Russ, family and friends are just as important. Think they call it work/life balance nowadays. I just worked till i got a burnout back in 2000, still not completely over it... so, all i can say is, take care. Keep it on the backburner and head for the shead whenever the time is ripe.

We'll be here, checking in every once in a while.

kindest Regards,

Steiny

The game actually has instrucctions to trigger forces feedback, i feel them using the gamepad, at landing and the plane touch the runway, or when accelerates along a gravel runway, when brakes... maybe we can use that instrucctions with FS Force.

Don´t know if that helps, i only wanted to share it.

Cheers, thanks for all!! :)

Hello there and Happy New Year !

I own your great utility for many years but FS2020 is not supported as I understand yet and maybe never.

As a temporary solution only for the Microsoft FF2 there is a utility called FS playground with the main function of replaying FS2020 flights.
FF2 supported on this utility, what about to contact the developer for info?

I really missed FS FORCE.
