Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback Pro Joystick (MIDI port)

Post by maja2 » Mon Apr 23, 2012 3:33 am

Hello,

there is lot information about FF2 joysticks with FS Force, but how about older Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback Pro Joystick on MIDI port.

So if I purchase cheap older FF Pro from Ebay and also install FS Force:

-is there force feedback with FSX in WIN7 32 or 64bit
-is there force feedback with FSX in XP 32 or 64bit

accuracy etc. MS FF Pro vs. FF2...

I have never heard of such a joystick, so I have no idea if it is compatible with FS Force. I would highly doubt it, though, as I do know that the original MSFF1 was not compatible with FS Force

I will do you a favor - I actually have one collecting dust. I will buy a USB adapter tomorrow for it and see. :D

I guess if the FF won't work - it's pretty much a waste of time.

One day more web-surfing and found this:

So it's possible, but no ideas if that adapter works with FS Force...
