Stick Shaker

Post by megatech » Sun Apr 05, 2009 4:03 pm

I love this addon.
But one thing is missing is the stick shaker when the airliners are stalling.

Yeah, it seems to be quite high on the wish list of everyone. Have you studied if it is possible to implement it? As far as I know, the different stall speeds of the loaded aircraft can be read through simconnect, and I supose that also flaps position can be read. Maybe that could be enough to have a decent stall buffeting implementation. Any comment?

The default force feedback option supports it.
So it shouldn't be difficult to implement.

I don't have anything to announce at this time, but there may be some news towards the end of the summer.

Yes, unfortunately it has, although where I live we are having some exceptionally nice weather. I'm actually very close to releasing an update that contains two new features (stall buffeting and stick shaker). I'll probably post something here this week.
