Forces not showing up in Properties/Ctl Mgr?

Post by howie » Thu Jan 01, 2004 3:39 am

The MS FF2 is working, but all I feel is a random "bump" and nothing else. When in Ctl Mgr, Properties, I can calibrate it, but no "forces" menu appears.

Any idea on what I messed?

Thanks,
Howard

Did you disable FF in FS2004 (or FS2002)?
What brand of stick?

Yes, I disabled FF in FS2004. It is the MS Sidewinder FF2.

Do I have to install any drivers?

Do you have the 4.0 drivers installed?

No, but you were right. I did disable the forces in FS2004, but when I checked, they were turned back on. When I disabled them again, the Force Feedback did work, and was a whole new experience.

I will definitely purchase this product, it will be well worth it and adds a whole new dimension to flight simming, which I have been a part of since FS2 in 1984.

I did not install the 4.0 drivers, but should I? Will it make any difference, or am I better off leaving it alone?

Thank you very much,
Howard

I would leave it alone if it working for you! :D
On my pc FS Force won't work without the 4.0 drivers.

Glad to hear you are experiencing what we all love about FS Force!
