Joystick comparison, how's Thrustmaster Afterburner?

Post by sim-stim » Tue Dec 02, 2003 8:31 pm

Smoothness, precision and force, compared to MS FF2 and Logitech Strike Force.

I haven't seen any reviews on it.

Haven't had a chance to try that joystick. Maybe some time in the future.

Thrustmaster Force Feedback

Post by victor2000 » Tue Dec 09, 2003 8:21 pm

I purchased a Thrustmaster FF and am about to return it as I found the FF to be so slight as not to be worth the extra dollars over the non FF model. It was not comparable with the MS in feedback. What is your opinion as maybe I have not set it up properly. I was using it on default DC3 in FS9

My only thought is that using FS2004 to evaluate a FF joystick is not really going to tell you much, as the forces are generally very weak in that program.
