Prepar3D compatibility

Hello,

Since this is basically the same code, FSForce should be working.
But it is not.

Is there a reason for it? Can there be a version for P3D?

Since I'm still one of the lucky owners of MSFF2 joystick, I can't imagine flying without FSForce any more.

Thanks
Kosta

Well according to the website it is supposed to be backwards compatible, so I would have thought it would run as is, but you're saying it doesn't. Can you give me more details? Do any error messages come up? I'm downloading the Prepar3d SDK now as I write this, and that may give me some clues as to why it's not working.

Popup window saying

FS Force

FS Force is not compatible with this version of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Please visit www.fs-force.com to obtain an update version of FS Force

I'll have to make some modifications to the program to make it work with Prepar3D. I'll post back here when it's ready.

great news, thanks!

I installed Prepar3d today and i'm really impressed. It runs veeeery smoothly on my rather old machine, but - it has to run with FSForce!

Just uploaded a new version of FS Force that works with Prepar3D. Please note you will be required to purchase a new license. As usual you can try it out in demo mode first.

There is a bug in P3D that causes it to crash on exit if ANY .dll addon is loaded. There's nothing I can do about that until Lockheed Martin fixes it. You can read more here : http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/?mingle ... opic&t=468

Hi,
will there be a FS Force version for P3D v2 too?

Can iit be used in a side-by-side installation with P3D 1.4 and P3D v2? Because there will obviously no update for P3D 1.4 only a new installation of P3D v2.
Thanks

We'll have to wait until it comes out, to see whether existing versions of FS Force will be compatible with the new release of P3D.

You didn't get the chance to try the beta version?

LOL. Actually I've been pretty busy lately, and completely missed the beta announcement. Your post was the first I had heard of it. Maybe I'll see if I can get into the beta program last minute.
