FSForce 2 trim assignment

I think I might have missed something. I have my FSX trim assigned to up and down arrow, rather than default Home and End keys. Can I adjust the FSForce cfg to also use the same keys?

The Heavy Prop configuration is just perfect for...

...the new MAAM-Sim R4D-6.

Heavy on bank, lighter on pitch, and with some real weight to the elevators at rest. Just perfect!

Now if we can only get rid of that FPS-eating ugly arm in the VC, I'd be very happy... I've got an idea for that actually, got to find the time to mess with the bitmaps a bit. Does it bother you too? Best, Joel Oh yeah baby! Amputation or Art! If it don't look like an arm, move like an arm a...

Seems to be installed fine, but interestingly still does not show up for profile selection. I did create a custom profile for it, though, which can be assigned manually. I'll try your trim adjustment later, I'm guessing this slows down how quickly trim changes within FS? Joel It doubles the effecti...

The numbers are very simple: If you've spent the money on force feedback compatible control devices in FS, and then bought FS9, you've wasted your money. If you've bought and installed just one of the long list of payware products above, you have one additional aircraft (or maybe two) in your folder...

For first problem: Let go of joystick on ground. The FSForce sstem does provide resistance to turning and pitching forces and these can be uncomfortable if you don't like them, or are in the habit of taxiing at speeds more common to Formula One racecars... For second problem: Turn OFF yaw damper. Th...

You will see

..that I did try and answer in a mature fashion, but obviously all your hard work has eroded your sense of humour. Or, for all your programming expertise, you don't understand the first thing about emoticons, else you would have realised that I was gently chiding your choice, whilst still proffering...

MS got out of the `game controller` business...

...because it no longer suited their strategy.

The cycnical might suggest that it was more likely because they couldn't get force feedback to work effectively with the very games that needed it most...

So basically...

...you've messed with EVERY keyboard and joystick setting in FS, and now expect the FS Force software to work for you as well..? Madness. Ingenious madness; machiavellian madness. But madness nonetheless. You have to re-map EVERY single key press to some arcane combination of buttons o...

Cost - and other factors

Guess I'd have to agree with Russ - the price is what the price is, and simmers have the option to pay or not. Spread across each and every plane in my FS aircraft menu the pro-rata cost is nothing, and the product is just at the start of its development cycle. Certainly, I would recommend total dis...

FSUIPC and button programming

So you have several functions programmed off the same key press..? Why would you do that? And how do you separate the desired function using FSUIPC? How does your computer decide whether you are trying to adjust mixture, prop or trim? Are you using Shift and Ctrl as sub-identifiers? As for the FSFor...
