It's not only the 8800 cards but all nVidia cards using drivers released in the last 6-8 months. It alway amazes me how little nVidia and ATI care about FS9 & FSX. Surely the installed user base of FS9 & FSX is huge yet getting them to issue a driver for their cards tweaked for FS only is impossible...

So far so good

Hi Russ Haven't been able to fly much lately. My wife's grandmother passed away over on the Island. I think we have all my problems sorted now as 2.0 seems to be working quite well. Ken ps. Shorts 360 over to Comox and a Beech 1900C on the way back from the funeral. The 1900C has no cockpit door so ...

Esp considering I have spent, it seems like, hours getting the darn force feed bacK to work on my stick. This program has effectively FIXED my joystick and I gladly pay for it. As was stated before. This program affects EVERY flight (if turned on) EVERY time you fly WHEREVER you fly. Hi Birdy I als...

I was looking around the AvSim store just yesterday and noticed the very same thing! People will pay $35 for an aircraft they don't fly every day but FS Force will be used EVERY time you fly. Something tells me many of the people who have bitched the loudest wouldn't have bought it even at $10. FaxCap

What video card and which drivers for it, Joel?
Something in the back of my mind is screaming, "driver problem!" :)

I am running an ATI 9600XT and until I switched to the Omega tweaked
ATI 3.10's I wasn't happy. Runs great now.

The only hit I have ever seen with FSF is the trim indicator. Once that
was turned off I barely see a frame rate drop of more than 1 or 2.

The articles I have read say M$ is losing huge amounts of money on
"hardware" and the are beginning to realize they should stick to software
only.

I still get the feeling Russ may get a phone call some day soon from either
Microsoft are one of the stick manufactures. :)

The MS FF sticks are not made by MS....there is another company who
made them for MS. Maybe the manufacturing company is in financial
trouble or maybe they wanted to raise their prices???

Hi Russ.....man oh man there are some grumpy people out there. :D I have to fight my temper sometimes. I can understand if somebody tests FSF and just plain doesn't like it...so be it....to each his own but some of these guys don't want to even give it a chance. The MS Force Feedback2 should still be in the stores. Try to find one
before they sell out. :)
